San Diego Fort Tour + Caleta and Caletilla Beaches

On this tour, we will explore Acapulco’s culture, history, and nature, including a visit to the Fort of San Diego and Caleta and Caletilla beaches. Pickup will occur at your hotel in Acapulco at the specified time for transportation to the Fort of San Diego, a 17th-century bastion built for defense against pirate attacks.

At the fort, we will enter via the drawbridge and spend one hour visiting the Acapulco Historical Museum. The tour will cover significant historical events related to the Mexican Independence and Revolution, showcasing cannons and other artifacts used in battles.

Following the fort visit, we will walk to the House of Masks, featuring an exhibition of indigenous motif masks, and then proceed to the Quebrada for scenic views of the city. Next, we will head to Caleta and Caletilla beaches, two popular coastal locations where you will have one hour of free time to explore the area.

After the beach visit, we will board the bus for the return to your hotel, concluding the 6-hour excursion.
