Experience the charm of one of Acapulco's hidden gems with the Tres Palos Lagoon Day Trip. This adventure offers an exquisite glimpse into nature and takes you to a site renowned for its cinematic beauty.

Tres Palos Lagoon Day Trip

Your journey begins at 12 pm when our team will collect you from your hotel in Acapulco, embarking on a scenic drive to Tres Palos Lagoon, situated just 40 minutes from the bustling city. As we travel, you'll be captivated by the breathtaking views of the Puerto Marqués bay.

Upon arrival at the lagoon, we'll board a motorboat for an exhilarating hour-long ride, allowing you to witness the rich wildlife and lush mangroves that inhabit this serene ecosystem. Interestingly, this picturesque locale served as a filming location for Tarzan.

The excursion continues as we make our way to Barra Vieja beach, an ideal spot for indulging in therapeutic mud renowned for its mineral properties. Here, you'll also be treated to a delightful traditional lunch, featuring local dishes such as soups, empanadas, and refreshing beverages.

Rejuvenated, you'll participate in a heartwarming activity at a turtle camp, where you can take part in releasing a turtle into its natural habitat—truly a memorable experience.

After roughly 6 hours of exploration and enjoyment, we'll return you to your hotel in Acapulco by 6 pm.

During the off-peak turtle release season (from May to October), feel free to unwind on the beach after lunch instead of participating in the turtle release.
