South Ghana Tour Package: 8 Days

Day 1: Arrival in Accra

We will pick you up from your hotel or Accra airport and take you to your hotel for two nights.

Day 2: Accra

After breakfast, visit significant locations in Accra, starting at Independence Square and Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park. Explore the artisan market and the historic James Town, known for its lighthouses. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 3: Accra - Kumasi

Leave Accra for central Ghana, stopping at the Mampong Centre for Scientific Research in Plant Medicine before heading to Kumasi. Visit Manhyia Palace to see the Ashanti historical artifacts. Dinner is at your hotel in Kumasi.

Day 4: Kumasi

Tour the craft villages in the Ashanti kingdom, including Ahwiaa for wood production and Ntonso for cotton weaving. Visit Kumasi Central Market, the largest in West Africa, before returning to the hotel for dinner.

Day 5: Kumasi - Elmina

Depart Kumasi for Cape Coast, stopping at the Obuasi mine and Assin Manso. Visit Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before checking into your hotel in Elmina for dinner.

Day 6: Kakum National Park and Elmina

Visit Kakum National Park to see its wildlife and walk the canopy walkway. Afterward, tour the Elmina Castle, the first European structure in sub-Saharan Africa. Experience a bamboo orchestra in Mesomagor. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 7: Elmina - Accra

Return to Accra, stopping to see Adinkra fabrics being made and purchase souvenirs. Arrive back at the hotel for dinner.

Day 8: Accra

We will take you from your hotel in Accra to the airport, ending the 8 Day Tour.
