Etna Jeep Tour & Boat Trip

At 8:30 am, we will meet on Via Provinciale in Aci Castello. We'll climb into an off-road jeep and drive to Etna, which reaches an altitude of 10,912 feet (3,326 metres) to explore its scenery.

During the Etna jeep tour, we'll stop at several viewpoints to admire the volcano from different angles. We'll travel through trails off the beaten track to experience this natural park's environment and observe its flora and fauna.

We'll discuss how Mount Etna's eruptions have impacted life in Sicily and the agricultural advantages of Sicilian soil. This area is known for its vineyards, and we'll make a stop for a wine tasting that includes local delicacies such as liqueur and honey.

Afterwards, we'll proceed to the coast and set sail on a boat trip around Aci Trezza. We'll sail through the protected Cyclopean Isles Marine Reserve and explain how Greek mythology relates to the formations of these volcanic islets.

We will return to land, concluding our activity at 4:30 pm.
