Jeep Tour of Etna & Snorkeling Experience

We will gather at 8:30 am on Via Provinciale in Catania, where our exciting journey begins aboard an all-terrain vehicle, destined for the Etna Natural Park. Are you ready to discover one of Italy's iconic volcanoes?

Throughout this outing, we will switch between jeep rides and short hikes, allowing us to delve deeper into the volcanic landscapes of Mount Etna and take in breathtaking views from various lookout points. We will traverse lush wooded areas, encounter dormant craters, and observe the abundant wildlife, including foxes, hedgehogs, weasels, porcupines, shrews, and many other species that call this reserve home.

Following our exploration, we will travel to Lido Aquarius, situated in the town of Aci Castello. There, we will don our snorkel gear and plunge into the warm waters of the Ionian Sea. This also includes a swim to the marine reserve at the Cyclops Islands, where we can marvel at the spectacular volcanic scenery below the surface and explore its rich aquatic ecosystem.

We will conclude our excursion by returning to the mainland, with an expected arrival back at 4:30 pm.
