If you're staying in Costa Adeje, don't miss out on our whale and dolphin-watching experience! We'll cruise along Tenerife's western coast in search of the dolphin and whale families that inhabit this area.
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the port of Colón in Costa Adeje. We'll board an eco-catamaran and start sailing along the west coast of Tenerife in search of the local whale and dolphin families.
We'll sail through the Teno-Rasca marine strip, a protected area that serves as a sanctuary for numerous whales and dolphins. The conditions here provide an ideal habitat for these animals.
The specific species observed will depend on the ocean currents, but we may see bottlenose dolphins, pilot whales, or sperm whales. We will share interesting facts about these species and use an underwater sound system to listen to their communication sounds.
You will see views of the Los Gigantes cliffs and the serene Masca Bay. In Masca Bay, we will anchor for a swim in the open sea.
After swimming, a lunch will be served on the catamaran, featuring a chicken and vegetable rice dish along with fresh fruit. Beverages such as beer, soft drinks, or water will be available from the bar.
Our catamaran trip will last a total of 5 hours, concluding with our return to the starting point.
