If you're staying in Costa Adeje, don't miss out on our whale and dolphin-watching experience! We'll cruise along Tenerife's western coast in search of the dolphin and whale families that inhabit this area.
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the port of Colón in Costa Adeje. We'll board an eco-catamaran and begin sailing along the west coast of Tenerife to search for the whale and dolphin families in the Atlantic Ocean.
We'll sail through the Teno-Rasca marine strip, a protected area that is a sanctuary for numerous whales and dolphins. The water temperature, depth, and food supply make this an ideal habitat for marine life.
The specific species observed will depend on ocean currents but may include bottlenose dolphins, pilot whales, and sperm whales. We will share interesting facts about these species and use an underwater sound system to listen to their communication sounds.
You will also enjoy views of the famous Los Gigantes cliffs and the peaceful Masca Bay. In Masca Bay, we'll drop anchor for swimming in the sea.
After swimming, lunch will be provided on the catamaran, featuring a chicken and vegetable rice dish along with fresh fruit. Drinks such as beer, soft drinks, or water will be available from the bar.
The catamaran trip lasts a total of 5 hours, concluding with our return to the starting point.
