Dolphin Sighting & Ship Graveyard Cruise

At the indicated time, we'll meet at McLaren Wharf in Port Adelaide and begin this cruise. Prepare to witness the natural beauty and history of Adelaide’s waterways.

As soon as we board our boat, our adventure around the coast of Adelaide will commence. We'll enjoy stunning views as our guide shares local history and information about the famous ships encountered along the way.

The Port Adelaide River has a rich maritime past as a trading hub. During the sail, we'll observe notable shipwrecks and landmarks, each with its unique story. We will see significant wrecks partially submerged in the Port River and learn their histories.

Next, we will proceed to the Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary, home to a wild dolphin population within the city. Keep an eye out for local dolphins, and during warmer months, we may spot newborn calves.

Continuing on, we will head toward the International Bird Sanctuary to see migratory shorebirds, including threatened species like the Curlew Sandpiper. We'll also observe familiar Australian species such as the Australian Pelican and Pied Cormorant.

Finally, after a total of 1.5 hours, we'll conclude this cruise.
