Dolphin Sighting & Ship Graveyard Cruise

At the indicated time, we'll meet at McLaren Wharf in Port Adelaide and begin this cruise. Prepare to experience the natural beauty and rich history of Adelaide’s waterways.

Upon boarding, our adventure around the Adelaide coast will start. We will enjoy stunning views as our guide shares local history and details about the famous ships encountered during the trip.

The Port Adelaide River has a rich maritime past as a trading hub. While sailing, we will observe notable shipwrecks and landmarks, learning about their stories. We will see large wrecks partially submerged in the Port River.

Next, we will head to the Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary, home to one of the few wild dolphin populations residing within a city. Keep an eye out for local dolphins, and in the warmer months, we may spot newborn calves.

Continuing, we will visit the International Bird Sanctuary to see migratory shorebirds, including the threatened Curlew Sandpiper, as well as Australian Pelicans and Pied Cormorants.

Ultimately, the cruise will last 1.5 hours.
