Visit the ruins of the city that was destroyed by one of the most well-known eruptions of all time on our Pompeii & Vesuvius Day Trip. We'll set off from Maiori and take a trip almost 2,000 years back in time.

Pompeii & Vesuvius Day Trip

At the scheduled time, we'll see you at the meeting point of your choice and set off for the ancient city of Pompeii. After a 50-minute drive, we'll arrive and take a guided tour of the ruins of Pompeii. We'll explore the events of the 24th of August 79 AD, when Vesuvius erupted and buried this prosperous city.

We'll see significant remains, including the forum, the baths and the theatre. During the tour of this World Heritage Site, we will learn about daily life. You will have 1 hour of free time for lunch at a local restaurant.

Afterwards, we'll head to Mount Vesuvius. We'll ascend the first 3,280 feet (1,000 metres) by bus and then walk to the top of the volcano to admire views of the Bay of Naples.

Finally, we'll descend the volcano and return to the bus. We'll arrive back in Maiori after 10 hours of exploring.
