Visit the ruins of the city that was destroyed by one of the most well-known eruptions of all time on our Pompeii & Vesuvius Day Trip. We'll set off from Maiori and take a trip almost 2,000 years back in time.

Pompeii & Vesuvius Day Trip

At the scheduled time, we'll see you at the meeting point of your choice and set off for the ancient city of Pompeii. After a 50-minute drive, we'll arrive at our destination and take a guided tour of the ruins of Pompeii, exploring the events of the 24th of August 79 AD, when Vesuvius erupted.

We'll see the remains found during the excavations, including the forum, the baths, and the theatre. As we explore this World Heritage Site, we'll learn about daily life in Pompeii. Following the tour, there will be 1 hour of free time for lunch at a local restaurant.

Next, we'll head to Mount Vesuvius, ascending the first 3,280 feet (1,000 metres) by bus and then walking to the top of the volcano. At the summit, we'll enjoy views of the Bay of Naples.

Finally, we'll descend the volcano and return by bus, arriving back in Maiori after 10 hours of exploring.
