Join us on this excursion to Mathura from Agra. We'll visit significant Hindu temples and the birthplace of the god Krishna to explore Indian history and culture.

Day Trip to Mathura

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Agra at the scheduled time and depart for Mathura, a city rich in history and the heart of Hindu culture.

After approximately an hour and a half drive, we'll arrive and begin our tour of iconic sites in Mathura. Our first stop is the Shree Krishan Janam Bhoomi complex, where temples are located at the legendary birthplace of Krishna.

Next, we'll visit the Dwarkadhish temple, renowned for its architectural beauty and murals.

Following this, we will head to the Sri Krishna Balaram temple, also known as the ISKCON temple, the main headquarters of the Hare Rama Hare Krishna mission. We'll discuss this religious branch and appreciate the temple's architecture.

After the temple visits, we will have a break for lunch at a local restaurant. Our final visit will be to the Prem Mandir, constructed of white marble. This temple features numerous statues, each with its significance.

We will conclude our Mathura tour and return to Agra after 10 hours of exploration.
