We'll begin our journey by picking you up from your accommodation in Agra at the scheduled time before setting off towards the mysterious Fatehpur Sikri. The drive will take approximately an hour.

Welcome to what is often regarded as the best-preserved ghost town globally! Here, we’ll explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site, marveling at the remarkable fusion of Indian and Islamic architectural styles evident in its many structures.

Fatehpur Sikri was briefly inhabited for less than two decades due to water shortages. Constructed in the 16th century at the behest of Mughal emperor Akbar, this city eventually faded into obscurity. Yet, its breathtaking architectural legacy remains intact to this day.

During our guided exploration, we will visit significant sites, including the imposing Buland Darwaza Gate, the grand mosque, and the tomb of the saint Salim Chishti, alongside other notable landmarks.

After our time in Fatehpur Sikri, we’ll reboard our transportation and travel for around two hours to Abhaneri, home to the renowned Chand Baori cistern. This location is truly one of the most enchanting and photogenic sites in Rajasthan.

We will journey back to the 9th century, delving into the history of this extensive water reservoir that has gained immense fame as one of India’s iconic structures. You will learn about the reasons behind selecting this region for constructing the nation’s deepest stepwell.

To conclude our 8-hour adventure, we’ll return you to your hotel in Agra. Alternatively, if you prefer, we can finish the tour in Jaipur and leave you at a central location within the city.
