The day begins with pick up at your hotel in Agra, heading approximately two and a half hours south through Madhya Pradesh to the historic city of Gwalior.

The first stop is the imposing Gwalior Fort, built in the 15th century by Rajah Man Singh Tomar. Here, participants will learn about its turbulent past and view the carved sculptures that are a testament to its history.

Following the fort, there will be a lunch break with one hour of free time to sample local specialties at nearby restaurants.

After lunch, the tour continues to the Jai Vilas Palace, where attendees will learn about its striking architecture reminiscent of certain European buildings.

The palace also hosts the Scindia Museum, named after a prominent Gwalior dynasty. Visitors will explore various rooms featuring carriages, sculptures, and decorative arts, including carved Belgian glass furniture.

After the guided museum tour, participants will return to their hotel in Agra.
