Valley of the Temples Sunset Tour
Join us at the Porta di Giunone for a sunset tour of the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. The tour will commence at the Temple of Juno, where we will explore the history and significance of this major archaeological site in Sicily, including ancient rituals and celebrations.
Next, we will walk to the Temple of Heracles, known for its ancient columns, and then proceed to the Temple of Concord, a prime example of Doric architecture, which provides a picturesque backdrop against the sunset.
The tour continues at the Temple of Olympian Zeus, highlighting its impressive columns and historical relevance. We will conclude our visit at the Porta V, an entry point to the city and the sanctuary of the Chthonic deities, discussing the beliefs associated with the Underworld.
