On this guided tour of Agropoli, we will explore its medieval castle and taste its gastronomy.

At the indicated time, we will meet at the access steps to the historical center of Agropoli that lead to the Angio-Aragonese castle.

We will start by crossing the Porta Bizantina, a main entrance dating back to medieval times. Here, we will immerse ourselves in the historical atmosphere of Agropoli Vecchia, walking along the cobble-stoned streets lined with stone houses.

Next, we will visit the Church of Santa Maria di Costantinopoli, a 16th-century sacred architecture marvel. Its simple facade and frescoed interior are noteworthy. Afterward, we will wander the narrow winding streets of the village to experience the authentic atmosphere of a typical Cilento village.

Then, we will go to the Aragonese Castle to admire its exterior. This 8th-century fortress dominates the village from the promontory, and we will learn about its history and legends. Lastly, we will descend to a viewpoint for a breathtaking sea and cliffs view.

We will conclude our tour at the port of Agropoli with a coffee and cake or ice cream, bringing the experience to an end 3 hours later.
