Real de Asientos & Tepezalá Tour
At 10 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Aguascalientes and set off for the town of Tepezalá.
We'll visit the Antonio Reyna Museum to learn about the history of Tepezalá through exhibitions of historic objects and information panels, including insights about the Guachichil and Chichimeca people.
Next, we'll see the Church of Nuestro Señor de Tepezalá, dedicated to the Black Christ, and learn its legend, followed by a visit to the Church of Nuestra Señora del Refugio for its gold filigree and wallpaper decoration.
We'll proceed to the Magical Town of Real de Asientos, known for its colonial architecture. At the Mining Museum, we will view a collection of rocks, transport wagons, drilling tools, and mammoth bones.
We'll explore 17th century tunnels designed to prevent damp in churches, as well as the local pantheon and ossuary. On the outskirts, we will visit the ex-Convent of the Señor del Tepozán, housing religious objects and artefacts of the Huachichil people.
Finally, we'll return to Aguascalientes, arriving at your hotel at 3 pm.
