Explore an enchanting town nestled in the Sierra Fria Mountains of Aguascalientes and taste fine wines on this tour to San Jose de Gracia and Casa Leal Vineyards from Aguascalientes.

San José de Gracia & Casa Leal Vineyards Tour

Pickup is at 10 am from your hotel in Aguascalientes. We'll head to Casa Leal Vineyards, located outside the town.

Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour of the winery, learning about the grape cultivation and harvesting process. We will explore the crushing, fermentation, resting, and aging areas, gaining insight into the wine production process. The vineyard tour concludes with a glass of wine and regional cheeses.

Next, we’ll travel to San José de Gracia, a designated Magical Town. Here, we will visit the Presidente Calles Dam for a boat trip to the island housing the Statue of the Broken Christ, a 25-meter high concrete and steel figure symbolizing the sick and oppressed.

We will return to San José to explore its handicrafts, including famous clay pineapples, and see the reservoir's floodgates while enjoying panoramic views from the El Jocoqui Dam viewpoint amidst forests of pines, evergreen oaks, and subtropical shrubland.

Finally, we will return to your hotel in Aguascalientes, arriving by 2 pm.
