- 2 Stunden
With this entrance to a lavender field in Aix-en-Provence, you'll explore beautiful violet landscapes and enjoy the scent of lavender typical of Provence.
Entrance to Lavender Fields
The lavender fields of Provence are a natural treasure of the south of France. When lavender blossoms between June and August, the area is painted in purple hues.
This entry grants access to the Terre Ugo estate, where around 30,000 lavender plants are cultivated on a 7-hectare family farm.
You will find the Lavandin Grosso variety, which grows at elevations between 656 and 3,280 ft (200 and 1,000 meters). It is a 100% organic crop.
The fields include shaded areas and sun loungers for relaxation while enjoying the scenery. A petanque court is also available for visitors.
The visit to the field is not guided, but staff are available for questions. If visiting at the end of August, you can witness the lavender harvesting process.
The visit duration is estimated at 1.5 to 2 hours, with the option to stay until closing time.
