Luberon Market & Villages Tour

We'll meet at the Aix-en-Provence Tourist Office at 9 am and set off in a minibus to discover the villages of Luberon. The order of visits may change. First, we'll visit Roussillon, known for its ochre-coloured houses and cliffs. Then, we will pass through Lourmarin, famous for its Renaissance castle, where you can explore its streets and architectural styles.

Next, we'll head to Fontaine de Vaucluse, located by the Sorgue River, featuring striking landscapes and a pleasant stream walk. A brief stop in Gordes will allow you to see a historic castle and panoramic views.

Lastly, we will visit a traditional Provencal market for souvenir shopping, with local artisanal products like handmade soaps, lavender, cheeses, and fruit. The market schedule is as follows: Tuesday in Gordes, Thursday in Roussillon, Friday in Lourmarin, Saturday in Apt, and Sunday in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.

We will return to Aix-en-Provence at about 6:30 pm.

Itinerary Adjustments

Between mid-June and mid-July, we will make a brief stop at the abbey of Sénanque for photos of the lavender field.
