Scandola and Girolata Boat Trip
Early in the morning, we'll meet at Tino Rossi pier to board our boat and set off along the western coast of Corsica island.
During the trip, enjoy views of the unique rock formations that characterize this coastline, a sanctuary for various birds including the peregrine falcon and the osprey.
The boat will reach the peninsula of Scandola, a land and marine nature reserve recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1983. This area features volcanic rock formations shaped by wind and sea erosion, showcasing extraordinary shapes and colors. The contrast of red and yellow tones against the deep blue Mediterranean is striking.
Next, the boat will proceed to the Gulf of Girolata, noted for the 18th-century Genovese tower overlooking the fishing village of Girolata. A two-hour stop will be provided for you to explore the small streets and enjoy local cuisine at nearby restaurants.
On the return, pass by the scenic coves of Piana and Cape Rosso, both part of an area with remarkable volcanic landscapes.
