Off-Road + Hike in Wadi Rum Desert

Explore the scenic Wadi Rum Desert and summit the highest peak in Jordan on this off-roading jeep tour with a hiking route through Jabal Um Addami.

Description

Meet at Wadi Rum Quiet Village Camp, where we will begin our off-roading tour through the Jordanian desert to Jabal Um Addami Mountain.

We will head towards the border shared by Jordan and Saudi Arabia to approach the mountain. As we ride, we will experience unique views of the desert valley of Wadi Rum.

Upon arrival, we will start our two-and-a-half-hour hike to ascend Jabal Um Addami, reaching the highest summit in Jordan at 1832 meters (6010 feet) above sea level. We will take time to discuss the local flora and fauna during our visit.

After descending, lunch will be provided featuring a variety of different Jordanian dishes. We will take a two-hour break to enjoy our meal and the views before returning via our off-roading jeep.

On our drive back, we will take in natural landscape views, passing sites such as Rock Bridge and Elqettar Spring. We will conclude our adventure with a sunset over the dunes, then return to the meeting point after six hours.
