Travel from Malaga to one of the main tourist attractions of the province on our Caminito del Rey Day Trip. You'll walk through the famous Gaitanes Gorge and admire incredible views of Malaga's rugged landscape.
Caminito del Rey Day Trip
We'll meet at Avenida de Andalucía, at the bus stop 2009, and board a minibus that'll take us northwest through the beautiful inland countryside of the province of Malaga.
During the journey, we'll cross the Alcaparaín mountain range and see extensive orange groves and several Andalusian white villages. We'll make a quick half-hour stop in the village of Ardales so you can stretch your legs or have a snack on your own.
For approximately 3 hours, we'll walk around 4.8 km (3 miles) along the Caminito del Rey from the northern access located in Ardales, crossing several tunnels. The hike will feature the Guadalhorce reservoir and the famous stairs of the Caminito del Rey.
The Caminito del Rey tour will include the geology, wildlife, and landscapes that surround us. The footbridge, suspended almost 340 ft (105 meters) above the Gaitanes Gorge, will offer panoramic views of the Sierra de Málaga. The entire route will take around 2.5-3 hours, with stops at viewpoints for photos and information.
After enjoying the Caminito del Rey, we'll conclude the excursion at the starting point.
