Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we will meet at 26 Athanasiou Diakou Street and depart for the Corinth Canal, with a short stop to appreciate this engineering marvel.
Next, we will proceed to the Argolid region to visit Mycenae, a major center of Greek civilization. Here, you will explore the archaeological site of the legendary kingdom of Agamemnon, including the Lion's Gate and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Afterward, we will travel to Nafplion, the first capital of modern Greece, where we will view the Venetian fortress of Palamidi and the castle of Bourtzi. We will then have 2 hours of free time for lunch by the Aegean Sea.
Following lunch, we will visit Epidaurus, the birthplace of Asclepius, the god of medicine. Please note that tickets to the Epidaurus site are not included in the excursion price, and can be purchased on-site. If you opt out of the guided tour, you will have 1 hour of free time.
We will then return to Athens, with arrival at the meeting point scheduled 10 hours after pickup.
