Day Trip to Cesky Krumlov

In the South of Bohemia, Cesky Krumlov is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992, renowned for its castle and historic old town.

Description

Departure from Prague is at 8:30 am to Cesky Krumlov, which features the second largest castle in the Czech Republic. The guided tour includes a walk through the narrow streets of the historic center, showcasing Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture from noble families like Rozmberk, Eggenberg, and Schwarzenberg. There will be free time for personal exploration of the town.

The highlight of the tour will be a visit to the Cesky Krumlov Castle, where the guide will present the remarkable exterior. Entrance tickets for the interior are available for purchase. The castle features antique furniture, artworks, tapestries, and a unique collection of ornate weapons. Additionally, the grounds include a revolving theatre.

After the visit, the tour returns to Prague, with an expected arrival around 6:30 pm.

From January 2nd to March 31st, 2025: Tuesday to Sunday. Only the castle museum and tower are accessible.From April 1st to October 31st, 2025: Tuesday to Sunday.
