At 8 am, we will depart from Dublin City Gallery towards the Wicklow Mountains. During this air-conditioned bus ride, there will be a 10-minute stop for photo opportunities of the scenery featured in films like P.S. I Love You and Braveheart.
Upon arrival in Glendalough, you will have 2 hours to explore. You can visit the Glendalough Monastic Site, established in the 10th century, and enjoy the surrounding lakes and waterfalls.
Next, you'll witness a local farmer and his sheepdog using whistle commands to manage a herd of sheep. There may also be a puppy in training and some lambs on display.
Your visit will continue in the village of Kilkenny, where you will have 2 hours to navigate its cobblestone streets and explore historical castles, including the Black Abbey and the Cathedral of Saint Canice, known for its round tower.
After a comprehensive day of sightseeing, we will return to Dublin by bus, estimated to arrive between 6 pm and 6:30 pm.
