Kamakura & Enoshima Private Day Trip

  • 8 Stunden

On this tour we'll visit two interesting places on the outskirts of Tokyo: Kamakura, known for its Grand Buddha, and Enoshima!

Tour Details

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Tokyo and proceed to the train station to start our day trip to Kamakura.

After a brief 1-hour train ride, we'll arrive at Kamakura Station. We will stroll down Komachi-dori Street, notable for its local handicrafts and restaurants, leading us to our next stop.

At the end of Komachi-dori Street, we'll find the Tsurugaoka Hachimang? Shrine, the most important Shinto shrine in the city, designed with Feng Shui in mind in 1063. We will explore its gardens and climb the staircase for panoramic views of the town.

Next, we will take a quick 5-minute tram ride to the K?toku-in Temple and the Great Buddha statue. We will explore the temple grounds while our guide shares historical insights. Optionally, you can enter the Buddha statue for an additional cost.

Afterward, we will provide 1 hour of free time for lunch at local restaurants nearby. We will then take a 20-minute tram to Enoshima.

In Enoshima, we will stroll Benzaiten Nakamise-dori shopping street and explore the marketplace. You may try local specialties like takoyaki or shirasu.

After an incredible day, we will return to Tokyo, arriving at Tokyo Station 8 hours later.
