Karlovy Vary Day Trip

Get to know the jewel of West Bohemia, Karlovy Vary, the spa town known globally for the thermal baths scattered around the city.

As well as its spas, Karlovy Vary is also famous for its International Film Festival, Moser glassware, and the Becherovka herbal liquor.

Itinerary

The tour meets at the Powder Tower and leaves the center of Prague at 8:30 am heading northwest towards Karlovy Vary. The first stop is a viewpoint to see the spa town before trying its curative waters.

The tour includes visiting the impressive geysers that form a 14-metre tall fountain of water, the famous colonnades, and sampling spa waters from their numerous fountains. The itinerary also covers the headquarters of the Knights of the Maltese Cross and Mozart's house.

Your expert local guide will provide historical context, including the affection of Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV for the town, its origins in the 18th century, and its modern significance. The tour features a visit to the Moser factory, with an opportunity to sample Becherovka herbal liquor during free time at the end of the tour to explore independently.

The tour returns to Prague, finishing at the initial meeting point around 6 pm.
