Paragliding in Rio de Janeiro

At your chosen time, we meet on Avenida Mendes de Morais, in the neighborhood of São Conrado. We will board a minibus to the starting point of the paragliding activity. Upon arrival at the take-off area, we will review basic safety measures and provide essential information about paragliding.

Accompanied by an instructor, we will take to the air and soar through the skies of Rio de Janeiro. From above, admire the lush nature of São Conrado, the Atlantic Ocean, and the city skyline. Experience flying over Tijuca National Park, with views of Copacabana, Ipanema, Sugar Loaf, and Pedra da Gávea, which stands at 2,762 feet (842 meters) above sea level. The flight lasts 6-10 minutes, depending on wind conditions, concluding with a landing at São Conrado beach.

Paragliding + Hiking activity

For a combination of land and air adventure, you can book a final option that includes a paragliding flight, GoPro photos and videos, and a guided hike through the Pedra Bonita trail in Tijuca National Park. The round-trip hike lasts an hour and a half and starts from Mendes de Morais Avenue; transportation is not included.
