Vienna & State Opera House Tour
We'll begin our guided walk through Vienna's historic center at Albertinaplatz, next to the Danube Fountain.
During our tour, we'll learn about the connection between the House of Habsburg and the history of Spain at the Hofburg Imperial Palace, which houses the Spanish Riding School. This institution, originating in the 16th century, is recognized as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
After viewing the exterior architecture of these buildings, we'll continue to St. Stephen's Cathedral to appreciate its Romanesque and Gothic architectural elements.
Next, we will stop at Heldenplatz, the site where Hitler announced Austria's annexation to the Third Reich. We will then visit the Burggarten park to discuss Austrian music near the statue of Mozart.
The tour will conclude with a guided visit to the Vienna State Opera, where we will explore the stalls and the stage area, a key venue in the world of opera.
