Explore a true paradise by sea & air by taking a plane ride over the Whitsunday Islands. After enjoying the incredible landscapes from a bird's eye view, we'll snorkel in the turquoise waters of this stunning archipelago.

Whitsunday Islands Plane Ride + Snorkeling

At your chosen time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Airlie Beach and head to the Whitsunday Airport. We'll take off to explore a protected natural paradise from the sky, flying over the Whitsunday Island archipelago and the Great Barrier Reef. After an hour's flight, we'll land and switch to a boat to visit Whitsunday Island, the largest island in the national park. You'll have one to two hours of free time to enjoy Whitehaven Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world!

You can eat during this break with food you brought or a picnic lunch available for purchase. A hiking route to the Hill Inlet viewpoint is included, offering views of the island's turquoise waters. We will take you to one or two snorkeling spots, which depending on conditions may be on Whitsunday Island, Hook Island, Border Island, or Dumbell Island.

The activity lasts seven and a half hours, concluding at Coral Sea Marina.

Snorkeling

Depending on your booking option, the activity will vary. If you choose a single stop for snorkeling, you'll have more time at Whitehaven Beach. Choosing two stops allows you to learn more about underwater life, but you will have one hour less at the beach.

Hotel Pickup

This tour includes hotel pickup from hotels in Airlie Beach. If you are outside this area, please meet at the Whitsunday Airport. The pickup time varies based on your ticket:

Plane ride + 1 stop for snorkeling: pickups from 6:10 am to 6:30 am.Plane ride + 2 stops for snorkeling: pickups from 7:25 am to 7:45 am.
