Northern Lights Tour + Whale Watching

This activity combines the main attractions of northern Iceland in winter: seeing the Northern Lights and going whale watching in the Eyjafjord!

Northern Lights Tour + Whale Watching

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Akureyri to start our Northern Lights tour and whale-watching activity.

First, we'll travel to the Eyjafjord, where we'll board a boat to watch whales and seabirds. This fjord is one of the best places to see whales in Iceland. During this 3-hour trip, we'll provide interesting facts about these cetaceans and address any questions you may have.

After the boat ride, we'll take you to the outskirts of Akureyri to see the Northern Lights. Depending on the weather, we'll select the most suitable location for viewing the Northern Lights.

Finally, we'll drop you off at your hotel in Akureyri 6 hours later.

In that case, we'll contact you as soon as possible and offer you to rebook on another date.The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and we cannot guarantee that you'll see them, even if you take the tour.If the tour concludes without sighting the Northern Lights or whales, we'll offer you the possibility of rescheduling for another date.
