Northern Lights Tour + Whale Watching

This activity combines the main attractions of northern Iceland in winter: seeing the Northern Lights and going whale watching in the Eyjafjord.

Northern Lights Tour + Whale Watching

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Akureyri to start our Northern Lights tour and whale-watching activity.

First, we'll travel to the Eyjafjord, where we'll board a boat to watch whales and seabirds. This is the largest fjord in the country and a prime location for whale watching in Iceland. During this 3-hour trip, we'll provide information about cetaceans and address your questions.

After the boat ride, we'll take you to the outskirts of Akureyri to observe the Northern Lights. We will select the best location based on weather conditions for optimal visibility of the Northern Lights.

Finally, we'll return you to your hotel in Akureyri after approximately 6 hours.

Both activities are subject to weather conditions and may be canceled at short notice. In such cases, we will contact you promptly to offer a rebooking for another date.Please note that the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and visibility is not guaranteed, even with the tour.If the tour concludes without sighting the Northern Lights or whales, we will provide an option to reschedule for another date.
