This activity combines the main attractions of northern Iceland in winter: seeing the Northern Lights and going whale watching in the Eyjafjord!

Northern Lights Tour + Whale Watching

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Akureyri to start our Northern Lights tour and whale-watching activity!

First, we'll travel to the Eyjafjord, where we'll board a boat to watch whales and seabirds. This is the largest fjord in the country and one of the best places to see whales in Iceland. During this 3-hour trip, we'll provide information about these cetaceans and answer your questions.

After the boat ride, we'll take you to the outskirts of Akureyri to see the Northern Lights. Depending on the weather, we'll go to the best location for visibility.

Finally, we'll drop you off at your hotel in Akureyri 6 hours later.
