At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and head to the old town of Al-Ula to learn about the city's history.

Inhabited since the 12th century, the historic center of Al-Ula features a labyrinth of narrow streets, stores, and houses built with stone and adobe. We will explore the origins of this town and its economic prosperity due to its location on the "Incense Route".

The guided tour includes a visit to an ancient castle to discover various legends passed down through generations within the community. We will also examine traditional Arab architecture and understand why the city was abandoned at the end of the 20th century, when residents relocated to modern Al-Ula, located 6.2 miles (10 km) away.

After an hour of sightseeing, we will conclude the tour by dropping you back off at your hotel.
