Tour to Tayma
This excursion to Tayma includes a visit to an ancient site with over 2,000 years of history, featuring several palaces and the largest water well in Saudi Arabia.
Pick-up will be between 7 and 8 am from your hotel in Al-Ula, followed by a 2-hour drive to the archaeological site of Tayma. You will explore one of the oldest human settlements in Saudi Arabia.
En route, there will be stops at notable monuments, including Bir Haddaj, the largest water well, as well as the palaces of Al Ridham and Al Hamra.
Upon arrival in Tayma, you will see the ancient walls, dating back to the 7th century B.C., situated in a prosperous oasis and key trade route.
A delicious lunch featuring various Saudi gastronomy delicacies will follow your visit to the walls. Next, you will explore the ruins of the Qasr Al Romman palace, linked to Tayma governors, and the Al Fajr Museum, which houses significant artifacts from the site.
The tour concludes between 4 and 5 pm, with a return drop-off at your hotel.
