The walk through the historic center of Alba will reveal interesting facts, including the birthplace of emperor Pertinax and one of the world’s renowned brands of hazelnut chocolate. Visitors may even catch a hint of cocoa aroma while exploring the old town.

Highlights include admiring the exterior of the medieval towers of Alba and the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, constructed between the 15th and 16th centuries. Nearby, the church of La Magdalena, a notable Baroque structure, will also be featured.

The tour will discuss the significance of wine and truffle culture in Alba, which hosts one of Italy's most important truffle fairs annually.

Participants will explore various squares, and after approximately 1.5 hours of walking, the free tour of Alba will conclude at Piazza Michele Ferrero.
