Truffle-Hunting Tour

Join us to hunt for truffles in Alba, a countryside town in Cuneo, where truffles are the local specialty. Learn about truffles and watch truffle-hunting dogs in action.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the parking of the Alba Cemetery. You will board your vehicle and follow the tour guide to the forest to begin your truffle-hunting adventure, discovering the secrets of the truffle, a renowned product of the region.

Upon arrival, we will meet the truffle expert, who will guide us in truffle hunting. You will observe the expert's work and the specially trained truffle-hunting dogs as they search for prized mushrooms. We will then set out into the mountains with our expert and their furry companions.

We will participate in a simulated activity where the expert has hidden truffles to demonstrate the truffle-hunting process. Given the abundance of truffles in the area, we may also find organically grown truffles. After this hour-and-a-half session, you will return to your vehicle, concluding your truffle-hunting experience.
