Karaburun & Sazan Island Day Trip

On this day trip to Karaburun and Sazan Island, you will experience the Adriatic Sea and the clear waters of Albania's southwestern coast. The tour includes a visit to a marine park and a cave.

Day Trip Details

The meeting point is at the Kolegji Universitar Logos, from where we will depart for the Vlorë coast. This journey offers views of Albania's natural beauty.

Upon arrival in Vlorë, we will have a coffee and breakfast before exploring the picturesque Albanian Riviera. Next, we will head to the port to board a boat to the Peninsula of Karaburun.

After a 30-minute boat ride across the Adriatic Sea, we will arrive at the Karaburun Marine National Park. This area features beaches with turquoise waters suitable for swimming, allowing opportunities to explore the region's marine ecosystem and view Karaburun's cliffs.

We will then visit Sazan, a former naval base from World War II, where you can observe abandoned military structures and old bunkers. Additionally, we will explore the Haxhi Allia Cave, known for its limestone formations.

After our exploration, we will return to Karaburun, where you will have time to relax on its beaches, enjoy a meal, and experience Albanian cuisine. Finally, we will return to Tirana after this 12-hour day trip.
