Let yourself be enchanted by the charms of Albania's capital on this walking tour of Tirana. We'll discover this city's must-see sights with a guide who'll tell us all about its fascinating history.
Tour Details
At the appointed time, we'll meet at the Clock Tower and begin our guided tour of the top landmarks in the Albanian capital.
First, we'll check out Skanderbeg Square and the mosaic on the facade of the National Museum. We'll learn about this building before pausing in front of the Et'hem Bey Mosque, which remained closed during the Communist period.
Our walking tour will then take us to the National Museum of Fine Arts and the Dajti Hotel. We will walk down the city center streets, cross the bridge over the Lana River, and arrive at the Pyramid of Tirana.
Nearby, we will visit the former Communist Party headquarters, the Congresses Palace, and Mother Teresa Square, dedicated to the Albanian Catholic nun. We'll also see the Archaeological Museum and the Polytechnic University.
After 2 hours, we'll return to the starting point, wrapping up our tour.
