Activity Details

At the appointed time, we will gather at the dive center located in the Albufeira Marina. Here, your diving instructor will provide a brief theoretical overview. After completing a straightforward formality, we will equip ourselves and move towards a designated safe water area.

Upon reaching the pool, you will learn how to properly don your diving gear and engage in some fundamental exercises designed to enhance your confidence for the open-water dive. You will practice techniques such as mask clearing, air sharing using the secondary regulator, and underwater communication.

Following these preliminary activities, we will make our way to the port and board a vessel to navigate along the coastline until we arrive at the selected dive location for the excursion. Are you ready? Let’s get ready to dive!

Once in the water, we will deflate our buoyancy vests and begin our descent, reaching a maximum depth of 12 meters (39 feet). This moment is the highlight of the experience! For around 30 minutes, depending on your air usage, we will explore the fascinating underwater ecosystem of Albufeira and keep an eye out for local sea creatures. It promises to be a remarkable experience.

When the time is right, as indicated by our dive gauges, we will ascend to the surface and return to our boat, concluding approximately three hours and 45 minutes of thrilling adventure.

It is essential to note that after your final dive, a waiting period of at least 24 hours is required before taking a flight or ascending to high-altitude locations.
