Albufeira Scuba Diving Introduction

At 1:45 pm, we'll meet at the dive center in the Albufeira Marina. The instructor will provide a brief theory lesson, followed by a simple questionnaire. After this, we'll take the equipment and move to the confined waters.

In the pool, you'll learn to put on the diving equipment and practice basic exercises to facilitate movement while diving in open water. You'll learn how to empty your mask, share air with an emergency regulator, and communicate underwater.

Once exercises are complete, we will board a boat at the harbor which will take us to the selected dive site. We will jump into the water, deflate the BCD, and start diving to a maximum depth of 12 meters. This session lasts for about half an hour, depending on your air consumption, allowing you to explore the seabed of Albufeira.

When indicated by the pressure gauge, we will return to the boat and then head back to the dive center, arriving at 5:30 pm.

After the last dive, wait at least 24 hours before flying or going to high altitude areas. The activity may be cancelled or modified due to adverse weather conditions.
