Your adventure begins at 9 am with a pickup from your accommodation in Albufeira, followed by a 30-minute drive northwest toward Silves.

Upon arrival, you'll explore the Moorish heritage of the old capital of the Algarve within its captivating historic district. Our first stop will be the impressive Silves Castle, renowned as one of the most intact Moorish fortifications in Portugal. While taking in its striking red-brick exterior, we will share insights into its fascinating history, which traces back to the 8th century. Nearby, the Cathedral awaits, a stunning Gothic-style structure built upon the remnants of a past mosque.

Afterward, we will board the minibus to journey towards Caldas de Monchique, a serene village known for its thermal springs and breathtaking landscapes. As we wander through this picturesque town, you will experience the tranquility that led the Romans to regard it as a sanctuary.

Next, we will ascend to Fóia de Monchique, the Algarve's highest point. This part of the tour provides an opportunity to capture stunning photographs of the valleys surrounding the Monchique mountain range. On clear days, the glittering Atlantic Ocean will be visible on the horizon.
