At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Albufeira and head northwest to Silves, a journey of approximately 30 minutes.

Upon arrival, we'll explore the historic center, observing the exterior of Silves Castle, one of the best-preserved Moorish fortresses in Portugal, with origins dating back to the 8th century. Nearby, we will also visit the Cathedral, a Gothic-style building constructed over the remains of an ancient mosque.

Next, we will travel to Caldas de Monchique, known for its hot springs and scenic views. We will explore this village, appreciating the tranquility that led the Romans to regard it as a peaceful haven.

Afterward, we'll proceed to Fóia de Monchique, the highest peak in the Algarve, offering opportunities for stunning photographs of the valleys surrounding the Monchique mountain range and, on clear days, views of the Atlantic Ocean.

We will conclude the excursion around 1 pm, returning you to your hotel.
