Join us on a tour from Alcocéber to the Maestrazgo Mining Park and the town of Culla, exploring the history of miners and the former residence of the Knights Templar.

Description

Our adventure begins at the designated time in front of the Alcocéber Tourist Office, where we will start our excursion to the Maestrazgo Mining Park and the town of Culla.

Upon arrival at the Maestrazgo Mining Park, we will board a train to the entrance of the Victoria mine. After equipping ourselves with safety gear, we will engage in a walking tour through the underground tunnel, gaining insights into the miners' history.

During our visit, we will see original tools and hear from former miners about their experiences, providing a deeper understanding of life in the Maestrazgo Mining Park.

Next, we will return to the surface and board the train for a scenic journey to the Esperanza mine. For approximately 20 minutes, we will explore geological phenomena and observe stalactites and stalagmites.

We will conclude our excursion in Culla, a medieval town connected to the Order of the Temple, recognized as a Site of Cultural Interest. As we walk through its cobblestone streets, we will discover notable sites, including an 11th-century Muslim castle, the Comendador's granary, and a former hospital.

Finally, we will return to Alcocéber, approximately 5 hours after our initial meeting.
