Day Trip to Morella

While in Alcocéber, a day trip to Morella is essential. Join us for a journey to one of the most picturesque towns in the province of Castellón and all of Spain.

We'll meet at the Alcocéber Tourist Office at the designated time and set off on our excursion to Morella. Our road trip will take approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. Upon arrival, we will embark on a guided tour of the city. The magnificent Morella Castle and the town's ancient defensive walls will be our first sights.

As we explore Morella on foot, we will navigate through archways, grand manors, boutiques, and the town's fortified gates. Entering through the San Miguel Gate, we will reach the heart of the ancient town.

Next, we will visit the Town Hall, a significant fifteenth-century building. Following this, we will have the opportunity to taste products at a Miel Guimerá store for souvenirs if desired.

Our tour continues to the Basilica of Santa María la Mayor, notable for its splendid Gothic architecture. Inside, we will explore the intricacies of the interior. Finally, you will have free time for lunch, allowing you to sample local cuisine.

Our adventure will conclude 10 hours after starting, returning to the meeting point in Alcocéber.
