Ebro Delta Day Trip + Boat Ride

On this exciting day trip to the Ebro Delta, you'll see the natural park's expansive rice fields and enjoy a boat ride for a unique experience.

Description

Meet at the Alcocéber Tourism Office to start the day trip to the Ebro Delta. Following a one-hour boat ride, we will arrive at the Ebro Delta Natural Park, which hosts over 300 species of birds. We will explore the area while discussing the key geological characteristics of the region.

We will also share interesting facts about the park, including the historical importance of the Delta salt flats and fishing trades before the rise of the rice industry in the late 19th century. This area is recognized as Catalonia's most humid region.

The day will conclude with a peaceful boat ride along the delta waters, where we will see Buda Island and the large rice fields. Keep an eye out for flamingos and seagulls during our journey.

After 5 hours of activities, we will return to Alcocéber.
