Jaén is the Spanish province with the greatest number of fortresses. You'll visit one of the most notable sites in Jaén with your entry to the castle.

The entrance ticket includes an audioguide in English that allows you to learn about the history of the castle's rooms, including the Chapter Room, featuring figures of friars from the Rule of Saint Benedict, a significant order in medieval times.

Additionally, you can explore the stables which display garments and protective equipment for riders and horses. The audioguide also highlights other key areas such as the armoury and the cisterns.

Before concluding your visit, which lasts about an hour, consider visiting the Torre del Homenaje. Here, you can appreciate the Hall of Audiences and ascend to the viewpoint of the terrace for excellent panoramic views of Alcaudete.
