Itinerary

Day 1: Addis Ababa

Meet at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport and transfer to a hotel in Addis Ababa for the night.

Day 2: Addis Ababa - Arba Minch

After breakfast, fly to Arba Minch, then visit Dorze Village for a guided tour of its beehive-like houses. Overnight at Hotel Paradise Lodge.

Day 3: Arba Minch - Arbore - Turmi

Travel to Turmi, passing through Weyto, home to the Tsemai tribe, and visit Arbore. Overnight at Buska Lodge.

Day 4: Turmi - Omorate - Turmi

Take a day trip to Omorate to visit the Dassanech tribe. In the afternoon, return to Turmi for the Hamer tribal bull jumping ceremony. Overnight at Buska Lodge.

Day 5: Turmi - Nyangaton - Turmi

Visit the town of Kangatan and the Nyangatom Tribe. Return to Turmi for the night at Buska Lodge.

Day 6: Turmi - Kara - Turmi

Travel to Kara, learn about the local customs, and return to Buska Lodge in Turmi.

Day 7: Jinka - Mursi - Jinka

Visit the Mursi Tribe in Mago National Park and then travel to Jinka for lunch at your own expense. Overnight at Jinka Resort Hotel.

Day 8: Jinka - Konso - Arba Minch

Travel to Konso, visit the village of Gamole (a World Heritage Site), then take a boat ride on Lake Chamo. Overnight at Paradise Lodge in Arba Minch.

Day 9: Arba Minch - Addis Ababa

Fly from Arba Minch to Addis Ababa. After dinner, transfer to Addis Ababa Bole International Airport for your return flight.

Flights

International flights to and from Addis Ababa are not included. You must book flights arriving in Addis Ababa on the day of your tour and departing on the ninth day from 9:30 pm onwards. Domestic flights between Addis Ababa and Arba Minch are included.
