Excursion to Cairo and the Pyramids of Giza

See the pyramids of Khufu, Khafra and Menkaure when visiting Egypt. The archaeological complex at Giza, near Cairo, will surprise you from the first minute.

Itinerary

We will pick you up from your hotel or from the Alexandria port in the morning to start the journey to Cairo.

Upon arrival in Cairo, the tour will proceed to the Giza pyramids on the outskirts of the city. A guided tour of this archaeological site includes the pyramids and burial tombs of pharaohs Khufu, Khafra, and Menkaure. We will explore the mysteries associated with these constructions and visit the Sphynx of Giza.

After the site visit, we will return to the capital for a guided tour of the Cairo Egyptian Museum, featuring numerous pharaonic artifacts including the funeral mask of Tutankhamun, discovered by Howard Carter in 1922.

We will have lunch in central Cairo and then visit the Coptic neighbourhood, focusing on The Hanging Church, built over the ruins of the old Babylonian fortress.

In the evening, we will return to Alexandria.
