Excursion to Cairo and the Pyramids of Giza

See the pyramids of Khufu, Khafra and Menkaure, essential for any visit to Egypt. The archaeological complex at Giza, near Cairo, offers a captivating experience.

Itinerary

We will pick you up from your hotel or the Alexandria port in the morning to travel to Cairo.

Upon arrival, the tour will proceed to the Giza pyramids at the city's outskirts. A guided tour will explore the site, comprising the pyramids and tombs of pharaohs Khufu, Khafra, and Menkaure. Visitors will learn about the pyramids' mysteries, some still under investigation. Adjacent to the pyramids is the Sphinx of Giza.

After the site visit, we will return to Cairo for a guided tour of the Egyptian Museum, housing over 120,000 pieces from five millennia. Exhibits include ornate sarcophagi, statues, mummies, and various artifacts reflecting ancient Egyptian life.

Lunch will be provided in central Cairo, followed by a visit to the Coptic neighborhood, focusing on its prominent monument, The Hanging Church, built over the old Babylonian fortress.

We will conclude the day by returning to Alexandria.
