Next, we proceed to the Kom el Shoqafa catacombs, exploring its tunnels featuring extraordinary reliefs combining Egyptian and Greco-Roman styles. Nearby, we will also see Pompey's Pillar, one of the last remains of the old temple dedicated to Serapis.
We will then stop for lunch on the banks of the Mediterranean, enjoying Alexandrian specialties such as fish and rice with seafood. The tour continues to the New Alexandria Library, a modern homage to the ancient library known for its significant collection of papyrus.
After completing the guided tour of Alexandria, we will return you to your hotel or the port.
