Discover the extraordinary historical heritage of this city founded by Alexander the Great, where Greek, Roman, and Egyptian cultures mix.

Itinerary

After pickup from your hotel or the port in Alexandria, the tour begins at the Qaitbay Citadel, a fortress facing the Mediterranean sea, built with remnants of the Lighthouse of Alexandria. We then visit the Kom el Shoqafa catacombs, exploring the Roman necropolis and its unique reliefs blending Egyptian and Greco-Roman styles. Nearby, we will see Pompey's Pillar, a remnant of an ancient temple dedicated to the god Serapis. A lunch break will follow on the Mediterranean, featuring Alexandrian specialties like fish and seafood rice. The tour concludes with a visit to the New Alexandria Library, a homage to the historic library known for its papyrus collection.

After the guided tour of Alexandria, we will return you to your hotel or the port.
