During this nighttime exploration of Alghero, you will delve into the city's historic center under the stars, culminating in a visit to the Corallium Rubrum Association to observe its coral exhibits. The evening will conclude with a delightful wine tasting.

Tour Overview

Our adventure begins at the appointed hour in Piazza Porta Terra, the perfect starting point for our exploration of Alghero's historic charm. Let's embark on this journey together!

We will pause at the base of Torre Porta Terra, the sole remaining structure of the ancient city walls that once safeguarded Alghero. Proceeding onward, our path leads us to Forte della Maddalena, a 16th-century fortification named for the statue that once graced a niche in its bastion.

Crossing through Piazza Civica, we will arrive at Piazza del Duomo, where we can marvel at the magnificent Cattedrale di Santa Maria, both externally and internally. Our exploration continues as we wander through the charming Jewish Quarter, nestled within the ancient city walls.

Next, we will enter the Corallium Rubrum Association. Inside, we will gain insight into the vital conservation efforts within the protected marine area and the processing of coral, complemented by an up-close view of a live coral tank and various artistic displays dedicated to this remarkable organism.

To elegantly finish our evening, we will partake in a tasting of 2 regional wines at a delightful bistro situated in the heart of the historic center. Cheers to a wonderful experience!

After approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, we will conclude our adventure and bid farewell at our original meeting point.
