You are invited to join us at the Tower of Santa Catalina, located within the Santa Barbara Castle, for a chocolate and turrón tasting experience.

Participants will explore the rich history of chocolate and turrón, two of Alicante's cherished sweets. A knowledgeable guide will discuss the origins of turrón, a Christmas treat originating in Jijona and Villajoyosa, reflecting the region's Arab heritage.

The session will address the ingredients and the intricate creation process of turrón, alongside its significance during the holiday season. Attendees will have the opportunity to taste three chocolates from Villajoyosa and two turrones from Jijona.

After 45 minutes, the chocolate and turrón tasting event will conclude, leaving a sweet taste in the participants' mouths.
