For those with a craving for all things sweet, we invite you to join us at the Tower of Santa Catalina, within the Santa Barbara Castle, for a chocolate and turrón tasting experience.

Before you dive into these confections, you'll embark on a journey through the history of chocolate and turrón, two of Alicante's most cherished sweets. Our guide will uncover the origins of turrón, a Christmas treat crafted in Jijona and Villajoyosa, influenced by the region's Arab heritage.

Have you ever wondered about the ingredients and the process of creation, and why turrón takes center stage during the holiday season? All these questions will be answered during this culinary adventure. To cap off the experience, you'll have the opportunity to try three chocolates from Villajoyosa and two turrones from Jijona.
