Day Trip Details
We'll meet at Lonja del Pescado in Alicante, boarding a bus to Guadalest. This 60km journey will take approximately one hour. Once we arrive in this medieval village, a guided tour will reveal its iconic sites, including San José Castle, which provides scenic views, the baroque church, and the Town Hall Square.
Guadalest features several exhibitions, such as the Museum of Microminiatures, the Microgiant Museum, the Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum, and the Ethnological Museum, which you may visit during your free time.
Next, we will reach Altea after a half-hour bus ride. Here, we will tour the narrow cobbled streets, viewing the white houses with flowered balconies, Consuelo Church, and its vaults. Afterward, you will have free time for further exploration, beach walks, or enjoying local cuisine.
Afterwards, we'll proceed to Fuentes del Algar, noted for its waterfalls and biodiversity. This area is a Protected Wetland. You will also have free time to swim and enjoy the site. After an 11-hour trip, we will return to Alicante.
