Day Trip Details
We will meet at Lonja del Pescado in Alicante and board a bus towards Guadalest, a 60km journey. After an hour, we will reach this medieval village for a guided tour of its key attractions, including San José Castle, the baroque church, and Town Hall Square. Guadalest hosts multiple exhibitions, such as the Museum of Microminiatures and the Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum, which can be visited during free time.
Next, we will take a half-hour bus ride to Altea, where we will explore the narrow streets of the historical center and see Consuelo Church. Following this, there will be free time to explore viewpoints, walk along the beach, or try local cuisine.
We will then proceed to Fuentes del Algar, known for its beautiful waterfalls and rich biodiversity. This area is designated as a Protected Wetland Area. Visitors will have free time to swim in the springs and enjoy the surroundings. After an 11-hour day trip, we will return to Alicante.
