Join us at the Tower of Santa Catalina, located within the Santa Barbara Castle, for a chocolate and turrón tasting experience. You will explore the history of chocolate and turrón, highlighting Alicante’s cherished sweets. Our guide will discuss the origins of turrón, traditionally a Christmas treat from Jijona and Villajoyosa, influenced by the region's Arab heritage.

Discover the ingredients and the creation process while understanding why turrón is essential during the holiday season. This culinary adventure concludes with tastings of three chocolates from Villajoyosa and two turrones from Jijona.

After a 45-minute session, our chocolate and turrón tasting event will conclude, leaving participants with a sweet memory.
