Excursión a Guadalest, Altea y las Fuentes del Algar

On this day trip to Guadalest, Altea, and Fuentes del Alga, we will explore these gems in the Valencian Community.

Day Trip Details

We will meet at the Alacant bus stop and board a bus for a 60 km (37 mi) journey to Guadalest. After approximately one hour, we will arrive at Fuentes del Algar, a natural site featuring spectacular waterfalls and rich biodiversity. You will have free time to swim in the springs and enjoy the area.

Next, we will visit the medieval village of Guadalest for a guided tour of its most emblematic spots, including San José Castle, which offers scenic views, the baroque church, and the Town Hall Square. Guadalest hosts several exhibitions, including the Museum of Microminiatures, the Microgiant Museum, the Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum, and the Ethnological Museum, available during our free time.

We will then continue to Altea, where we will tour the narrow cobbled streets in the historical center. Highlights include iconic white houses with flower-decorated balconies and Consuelo Church, visible from anywhere in Altea. After our walking tour, you will have free time to explore viewpoints, relax at the beach, and enjoy local cuisine with views of the Mediterranean. We will conclude the 11-hour trip by returning to Alicante.
